What a bike fit is and what you take home
Short answer
A bike fit is the analysis of how your body relates to the bike while you pedal. We measure joint angles in 3D, the pressure on the saddle and the position of your cleats, and we adjust the bike until the position is comfortable, sustainable and efficient. At Bibobici it costs €180 and takes between 1 h 30 and 2 h 30, in our own studio in Vera, Almería.

What it is not
It is not measuring your inseam and multiplying by 0.883. It is not a side-on photograph taken with a phone. And it is not a medical diagnosis. It is a session of measurement and testing in which every change is verified against a number before it is allowed to stay. Sometimes the conclusion is that your position was already right. That happens, and we tell you.
The three things we measure
The movement, in 3D
With STT Systems 3D kinematics we measure hip, knee and ankle on every pedal stroke, at your real cadence, not posing.
The support, on the saddle
With Velometrik we see where you actually sit, how much load goes to each sit bone and which saddle suits you.
The technology is not the point. It is how we stop guessing.
The joint model you watch on screen while you pedal. Not a side-on photograph: the whole movement, measured in three dimensions and compared before and after every adjustment.
