What exactly is a bike fit?
It is the analysis of how your body relates to the bike while you pedal. We measure joint angles in 3D, saddle pressure and cleat position, and we adjust the bike until the position is comfortable, sustainable and efficient. It takes between 1 h 30 and 2 h 30 and costs €180.
How much does it cost?
The full bike fit costs €180 for one bike and €270 for two. The pre-purchase fit is €135. Individual services, such as a cleat fitting or a pressure test, are quoted according to what you need.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Edu carries out fits in English and in Spanish, and the technical report is written in whichever language you prefer. Most of our coastal clients are English-speaking residents or visitors.
What do I need to bring on the day?
Your bike, clean; your cycling shoes with the cleats already on; the bib shorts you normally ride in; and any insoles or supports you usually use. If you have booked the two-bike fit, bring both.
Is it only for road bikes?
No. Road, MTB, gravel, time trial and triathlon. Each discipline has its own position, its own reference angles and its own typical problems, and the fit adapts to the one you actually ride.
I have ridden for years without pain. Do I need one?
If nothing hurts and you are riding as you want to, there is no urgency. The two moments where it makes the biggest difference are when a discomfort appears and will not go away, and when you are about to buy a new bike: there the €135 pre-purchase fit prevents a mistake worth thousands.
