Full bike fit €180

Short answer

A full session lasts between 1 h 30 and 2 h 30 and has six phases: interview, anatomical assessment, cleat fitting, saddle pressure analysis, 3D kinematics and report. You come with your bike, your shoes with the cleats on and your usual bib shorts, and you leave with the position resolved and every measurement in writing.

Step by step

From the door to a position that works

The order is not arbitrary: each phase conditions the next. Setting the saddle before the cleats would mean redoing everything the moment the foot moves a millimetre. So we work from the ground up and from the inside out.

  1. Before you come: what to bring

The session goes a lot further if you come prepared. Nothing unusual is needed:

    • Your bike, reasonably clean.
    • Your cycling shoes with the cleats already fitted, even if they are wrong: that is where we start from.
    • The bib shorts you normally ride in, not a new pair.
    • Insoles, wedges, knee supports or anything else you use regularly.
    • If you have booked the two-bike fit, bring both.

    What it gives you
    Everything resolved in one visit
  2. Personal interview

Before touching the bike, we talk. How many kilometres you ride and what kind, at exactly which point of the ride the discomfort appears, what injuries you carry and what you want to be able to do this year that you cannot do now. This is the phase that steers everything else: the same sore knee is solved differently if the goal is a two-hundred-kilometre sportive than if it is two short midweek rides.

    Duration
    25 to 30 min
    What it gives you
The goal of the fit, in one sentence we both understand
  3. Anatomical and anthropometric assessment

Off the bike. We measure hip mobility, lumbar flexion, hamstring length, ankle rotation, leg length discrepancy and your body dimensions. Two riders of the same height can need opposite positions if one has long femurs and the other a long torso. The limits show up here too: if your hip does not allow a position, we will not take you there however fast it looks on paper.

    Duration
    20 to 25 min
    What it gives you
The range of positions your body accepts today
  4. Cleat fitting

The cleat is where every pedal stroke starts, and it is the contact point almost nobody checks. We work on the three axes: fore-aft over the pedal spindle, rotation to match your natural foot angle, and stance width. We watch the foot in movement, not standing still, and we add wedges only if the measurement asks for them.

    Duration
    20 to 30 min
    What it gives you
A foot that transmits force without dragging the knee with it
  5. Saddle pressure mapping

With Velometrik we see where you actually sit while you pedal: how much load goes to each sit bone, how symmetric it is and whether there is pressure where there should not be any. It is the most revealing screen of the whole session, and often the one that explains a complaint you had given up on. Every change is measured before and after, in front of you.

    Duration
    15 to 20 min
    What it gives you
Load on your sit bones instead of on soft tissue
  6. Real-time 3D kinematic analysis

With STT Systems we measure the joint angles while you pedal at your real cadence, not posing for a photograph. We try solutions, we measure again and we compare. Anything that does not improve the number does not stay, even if the textbook says it should.

    Duration
    25 to 35 min
    What it gives you
Hip, knee and ankle angles inside their working range
  7. Technical report and advice

You leave with the bike adjusted and with a digital technical report: every measurement, the pressure map captures before and after, component recommendations if any are needed, and the Enjoyment Index we close the session with. If something does not settle in the following weeks, you come back and we readjust it.

    Duration
    15 min
    What it gives you
Everything in writing, so you can reproduce the position anywhere

After the session

The body takes between two and four weeks to adapt to a new position. Odd sensations on the first few rides are normal: muscles working through a range they were not used to.

And if something does not settle

That is what the follow-up is for. If after those weeks something still does not feel right, you come back and we readjust it, at no cost. The aim is not to close the fit: it is that you ride without discomfort.

Choose your option

Now you know how it works. This is what it costs

Every option includes the whole session, the report with all the measurements and the follow-up readjustment. What changes is the moment you arrive.
